The main building houses the Auditorium (MLS Hall), with a capacity of 400 seats, Administrative block, Directors’ block, Laboratories, Seminar Rooms, Council Room and various departments. It was a challenge to renovate an auditorium lacking essential modern facilities like stage lighting, acoustics, HVAC, firefighting, proper furnishing and whose basic structure could not be altered. The scope of work included civil, interior, acoustic treatment, stage craft, general and stage electrification, theatrical lighting, fire detection, installation of a modern and audio visual system and allied facilities.
